Tim & Yi Peng
Menus and Schedules
The Wedding of Timothy Tan and Ong Yi Peng

Our wedding day schedule will be pretty simple and typical of many local weddings. Essentially, there will only be the traditional tea ceremonies to be held in the morning at our respective parent's homes and then there is the wedding banquet, which will be held at the Five-Star hotel, The Pan Pacific Singapore.

For our guests coming from overseas, please see the map page for directions to the hotel, or contact us directly for transport arrangements.

Just prior to the banquet dinner, we will have a simple Civil Solemnisation ceremony at the hotel. Due to the limited seating available in the Function Room for this ceremony, we have only invited our closest friends and relatives.

For those who cannot wait to find out what's in store, have a look at the planned schedule and dinner menus below.

Banquet Dinner Menus
Subject to changes in circumstances beyond our control

All our guests will be served with the standard Chinese dinner menu, except for our Muslim and vegetarian guests who will be served with the respective menus below. Please indicate in your RSVP if you require Muslim or Vegetarian or any special meal requirements. We hope you are already looking forward to the sumptious banquet we have prepared for you!

You will notice that we have specifically requested for a sharksfin-free soup course. We are doing our part to reduce the cruel slaughter of sharks solely for their fins. We are of course, well aware that the sharksfin soup traditionally served at wedding banquets contributes significantly to the cost of the dinner, and we have consequently negotiated the replacement of this dish with a similar soup of equal value. The hotel's chef developed a suitable alternative, the Six Happiness Treasure Soup, which we have tried and found to be delicious, and hope that you will too!

Due to the overwhelming preference of our vegetarian guests

This is because we would not be able to meet the
minimum required number of guests for this menu.

We hope you, our guests, will understand.
